Durante una conferencia de prensa que tuvo lugar en Pasadena, Ca, quedó al descubierto que la Diva del Bronx no tenía ni idea que Telemundo estaba produciendo una telenovela basada en la película que ella protagonizó
Varias veces les hemos contado en el Mundo Novelero de Terra que la producción de Telemundo 'Una Maid In Manhattan' es una telenovela basada en la película que en el 2002 se convirtió en un hit y que fue protagonizada por la hermosa Jennifer López.
Bueno, con lo que van a leer a continuación se darán cuenta que la menos enterada de que 'su' película se convirtió en novela... ¡era la propia J.Lo!
Y es que durante un evento en torno al lanzamiento de la nueva temporada del famoso concurso de canto 'American Idol' (Fox) -donde Jennifer López es una de las jurados- y, donde estuvo presente nuestro compañero Dennis Pastorizo, la cantante y actriz quedó de una sola pieza ante la noticia de que existía la producción.
Ella se echó de para atrás al enterarse de que la novela será su competidora en rating, pues 'Una Maid In Manhattan' se transmite exactamente en el mismo horario que 'American Idol' lo hará un par de días a la semana cuando este comience a emisiones en pocos días.
Para sorpresa de todos los asistentes, J.Lo reaccionó con una frase que puede dejar frío y tembloroso a cualquiera que quiera evitar un lío legal en los Estados Unidos:
"Mejor... voy a llamar a mi abogado".
¡Ouch!

DENNIS: ¿Cómo te sientes de que la versión novela de tu película 'Una Maid In Manhattan' vaya a competir con 'American Idol'?

Al fín y al cabo ellos son unos profesionales en el negocio y no es la primera vez que adaptan una historia ajena.
Lo que sí puede pasar es que a partir de este hecho a lo mejor Litzy y Eugenio Siller, y todo el elenco de 'Una Maid In Manhattan', podrán darse el lujo de decir que una de sus televidentes más famosas es nada menos que... ¡Jennifer López!
