Jennifer Lopez has revealed that a small health problem her daughter Emme
"I found a bump on his head, which was very soft, like water. I thought that if Emme was not right, I would not either, and if I was not, either would be fine the rest of the family" the artist said in an interview with CNN from which an extract is issued and in which he spoke of the fear he felt for his daughter's health.
The artist said that, finding the lump on the head of the girl, now three years and her twin Max, came with her then-husband, Marc Anthony, a hospital where they did a series of tests that showed no Emme had no problem.
Max and Emme were born in 2008 and are the children he had from his marriage to the Puerto Rican singer Marc Anthony, who split last July.
The artist also noted that one of the activities of the foundation, who runs his sister Linda Lopez, has been the implementation of a telemedicine program at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles that allows physicians from all over the world to share diagnostic of patients.
Last October, the artist opened another similar center at Children's Hospital in San Juan (Puerto Rico) and is expected soon that system also connected to the university pediatric hospital on the island, and to join the project children's clinical centers in other countries .

Jennifer López ha revelado que un pequeño problema de salud de su hija Emme cuando era bebé la llevó a reflexionar sobre la dificultad que encuentran muchas madres de pocos recursos para acceder a la sanidad, y a poner en marcha con su hermana Linda la Fundación Maribel para ayudar a mujeres y niños.
"Le encontré un bulto en la cabeza, que era muy blando y parecía agua. Pensé que, si Emme no estaba bien, yo tampoco lo estaría, y que, si yo no lo estaba, tampoco estaría bien el resto de la familia", dijo la artista durante una entrevista con la cadena de televisión CNN de la que se ha emitido un extracto y en la que habló del temor que sintió por la salud de su hija.
La artista contó que, al descubrir el bulto en la cabeza de la niña, que ahora tiene tres años como su mellizo Max, acudió con su entonces esposo, Marc Anthony, a un hospital donde le hicieron una serie de pruebas que demostraron que Emme no tenía ningún problema.
Max y Emme nacieron en 2008 y son los hijos que tuvo de su matrimonio con el cantante puertorriqueño Marc Anthony, de que se separó en julio pasado.
La artista señaló también que una de las actividades de la fundación, que dirige su hermana Linda López, ha sido la puesta en marcha de un programa de telemedicina en el hospital infantil de Los Ángeles que permite a los médicos de cualquier parte del mundo compartir diagnósticos de pacientes.
En octubre pasado la artista inauguró otro centro similar en el hospital infantil de San Juan (Puerto Rico) y espera que pronto esté conectado también a ese sistema el hospital pediátrico universitario de la isla, y que se unan al proyecto centros clínicos infantiles de otros países.
"Quiero ayudar a la gente. Es el mismo tipo de sueño que tenía con el baile, y que me está llevando a hacer algo bueno por el mundo", dijo Jennifer López
